Dell U4320Q was purchased end of November. Last night I turned the monitor off but left computer running so I could resume work exactly where I left off. This morning when I turned monitor on the screen did not awaken but at the top corner of the screen a 3 " diameter smug looking spot appeared and lines like you see in windshield when it spiders after being hit by a rock appeared. The glass does not appear to be broken but the monitor will not work at all. The failure now stays viewable even when power is turned off. Dell says that they do not provide any coverage for the monitor and I will have to buy another one. My question, has this happened to anybody else? Did I cause the issue by turning the monitor off but leaving the computer running (I did not put computer to sleep)?
