U4919DW, DDM for macOS, #2
I purchased a U4919DW Ultrasharp monitor to use with my 2018 Mac Mini (Big Sur 11.2.3). I have the monitor working fine, but when I try to install DDM, I get "The monitor firmware is not compatible with DDM. Update the monitor firmware.". I can click continue and DDM appears to install successfully, but it will not launch. I installed firmware version M2B106, which I believe is the latest version. When searching Drivers & Downloads for the U4919DW, Apple OS is nowhere to be found in the dropdown, other software OSs, nor anywhere else I have searched on the Dell website. The site instructions dealing with Mac tell you to select Apple OS from the Operating System dropdown, but it does not exist. Where can I get firmware for the U4919DW to allow me to use DDM? Is there another method of installing DDM on Mac Big Sur? Will DDM work with Mac Monterey?

DDM for macOS compatibility has nothing to do with the fact that we released a U4919DW firmware update that can be run through macOS. As of March 22, 2022, there are no plans to add the U4919DW to the DDM for macOS supported monitor list.
