U4919DW, entire monitor flickering

Today, my U4919DW started to flicker quite severely. When the flickers starts it shows severe moire and some ghost icons popping up. This is the second time this happened, but unfortunately everything I tried before to fix it, doesn't work anymore: factory resetting, completely unplugging it from power for like 30 minutes. changing temporarily the refresh rate to 30Hz.

This happens on my Windows PC, Macbook M1, and MacBook Pro 2017.

Here is a photo of the ghosting. I also have a 4K/60FPS video of the issue. But uploading on YouTube to share the link it gets compressed and the flicker removed.

Any help of suggestion appreciated. This is still under warranty.

Further update. The Dell Customer support acknowledged the issue and they are replacing the faulty monitor.

Remove the non-supported longer cable and retest with the provided 1m/3.2ft USB Type-C to C cable.

As shown on the online U4919DW driver page, Dell only offers Windows drivers. The online U4919DW User's Guide only mentions Windows operating system.

Read through the existing U4919DW threads on the Apple Forum. If one is not found that helps, consider starting a new thread out there to get opinions from other Apple users.

It's probably related to Mac M1. Try to unplug monitor for 5-10 minutes. You can also try LCD conditioning from monitor menu.

Since i bought this i get the monitor flickering very 2-3 months sometimes for like 1 hour other times for the whole day. The Flickering and Ghosting happens even when the monitor is not plugged to anything, just power. It never have fixed. I have tried:

- changed cables
- tested on MacBook pro 15" 2017, MacBook Pro 13" M1, MacBook pro 14" M1, MacBook Pro Max 16" M1, Windows PC with Windows 10 and Windows 11
- Updated the drivers
- Updated the firmware
- Reset to default settings
- I've moved to using an external dock so now nothing is connected to the monitor other than USB-C cable.

The flickering only got worse until it just stops. Sometimes after 10-15 minutes other times after 1-2 days.  And then I will get 1-2 months of good use and I get the flickering again.

Been a Dell monitor customer for 15 years. I sincerely start to think that I need to Code of Conduct. DELL-Admin> as I had this issue months after I bought this £1200 monitor. And support has got me running in circles every since.
