UP2414Q, powers on, no image on screen, #2
I had the same issue as here. After following your steps when I get to step 5 "Press the monitor power button. The "No cable" message should appear (page 43)" the monitor no longer powers on. I have verified the power cable works on another device. Before running the steps the monitor would power on but would not display anything not even the OSD menu.

Based on your notes, the UP2414Q appears defective. When did it last work? When was it purchased? Purchased from whom?

Worked last night. Wasn't working when I got up this morning. It was purchased 30 days ago in factory sealed box from a private seller. S/N CN-06X55C-74445-4CU-452L.

Based on the 20 digit S/N, it was built on December 30, 2014. Try this again, if still no go, you should contact the private seller and get a refund.
* Disconnect EVERY cable (including the power cable) from the rear and side of the monitor
* Wait 5 minutes
* Press and hold in the monitor power button for 10 seconds, then release it
* Reconnect ONLY the power cable to the monitor
* Press the monitor power button
