UP2715K, power cable failure
I suddenly detected the intense violet shadow, after several shutdowns it disappeared. I started to investigate, I changed video ports but the problem continued. Finally in the power connector, I noticed that the end of the power cable moved, it did not fit well at all. I changed the power cable and it seemed to fit better and the problem disappeared. I seemed to minimally appreciate that violet color on the sides, but it was more an error of appreciation. What a scare! It seems that it disappeared and I can continue to love its problems to wake up from rest.

Good fix. That is not surprising that the original 7 year old power cable may have lost some of its plastic over the years (disconnecting/reconnecting) causing this issue.

Sorry, the 2715 was work good for 15 days but in the last two days the problem return, I was probé with 3 different cables and not work
will be a solution buy a high quality cable or Dell original cable ?
