UP2716D, calibration issues
Hi,
I bought the UP2716D Monitor a couple months ago, for professional graphics work and have for the life of me not been able to calibrate the monitor.
Thumbnails in windows (10) look colorful, but as soon as I open them in Photoshop, or even windows image viewer the colors, saturation and temp all change. It makes consistent work impossible as I'm never sure what my clients are seeing, or if my feedback is accurate. And working between multiple programs is a nightmare.
The monitor has so far been a very expensive paperweight. I've tried calibrating with driver updates, in Photoshop and in the windows color manager with out any success. I'm very disappointed with this as I expected the calibration tools would be included.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I`m in the same boat. It~s not possible to work correct with this monitor.
-Custom color mode + GPU calibration with DisplayCAL. As long as you do not have severe uniformity issues and have a GPU with high bitdepth LUTs+dithering (like with a desktop AMD graphics card)... there will be no issues.
-If you suffer from uniformity issues use UC feature. White will be locked (no OSD gain control). As long as your target white point is not too far away than native white (~7dE, as an example), use GPU calibration with DisplayCAL. White point will be corrected in GPU LUTs (same graphics card requirement as above) limiting maximum ouput in one or two channels.
-If you do not have that kind of graphic cards and it is not possible to get one and you suffer sever uniformity issues or DUCCS is not able to work in your system... then your situation is beyond help. Save money an buy an Eizo CS or NEC PA.
