UP2716D, image retention and other issue

Greetings,

I have this display since 2016. It developed an issue with image retention where some of the desktop icons remain imprinted. Also, there's a vertical cloud shape on both sides of the screen as shown in the attached photo. Any idea if it's possible to fix this? I have tried LCD Conditioning but the issue persists.

For a monitor 5 years or older, the LCD Conditioning is the only solution. If that does not fix the imge retention, time to replace the monitor.
