UP3216Q, calibration, Windows 11

Hi there. Using DUCCS and i1 display pro, I have created two profiles. One uses 120 luminance and the other 80 luminance. But when I switch between Cal 1 and Cal 2, there is no discernible difference on screen in terms of brightness. I have further tested this by creating two new profiles of 40 and 160 to widen the difference, but there is still no apparent change between the two. I have

  • removed all previous profiles from the PC color management
  • reset screen to factory reset
  • made sure I have updated DUCCS for Windows 11

Thanks

I didn't because when I added my service tag plus windows 11 OS it said: This driver is not applicable for with Windows 11. Choose another product to re-enter your product details for this driver or visit the Product Support page to view all drivers for a different product.

Clarify, did you install this July 13, 2022 Xrite DUCCS package supported in Windows 11?

My mistake - yes I did download this earlier when it said it was applicable with my UP3216Q without me inputting a service tag

Further information. If I decrease the brightness in the standard preset to zero, and then switch back to the previously calibrated Cal1 with 120 luminance, the screen remains at very low luminance. Similarly if increase brightness in standard to 100, switching back to Cal 1 still leaves it at maximum brightness. This isn’t right!!

The only way I know of to prove that the UP3216Q was faulty would be to replicate the brightness issue using different colorimeter and calibration software.

Was this issue ever resolved? If so, how?  Thanks
