Video card to support Samsung Syncmaster 225bw

Question

I have a Dimension 8200, P4/2Ghz w/original GeForce 3 Ti200 graphics card.  My new Samsung Syncmaster 225bw 22' monitor isn't supported at its resolution of 1680 x 1050.  I'm a little confused by the wealth of video cards available - don't do any serious gaming so I'm just looking for good value and proper resolution - what's the best card to buy for my needs, thanks!!!

...my work computer is running the previous model Dell 2005FPW widescreen at the same 1680x1050 with a 5-year-old GeForce Ti200 with only 64MB of ram sitting in the AGP slot and using the standard VGA (analog) connector.

Have you updated the driver?

I make do with an FX5200 because I don't think it's worth buying a new AGP card for my old machine (Athlon XP3000+, Dell 2007WFP @1680x1050).
