What are A00, A01 & A02?

I'm about to purchase the 2407FPW, but what does the A00, A01 & A02 mean? Thanks.

Revisions that have been made to the monitor to alleviate issues that ocurred. Not sure about the 2407 but I am pretty sure that the 2007WFP is up to rev A02.

All,

2007FP, 2007WFP, 2407WFP Firmware revisions -
A00 Initial release
A01 In Desktop Mode only, switched off the Faroudja video processing which causes the banding
A02 Color tweaking in the Service Menu (don't ask, I don't know the details)

On the 2407FPW, which versions support 1080i through component. It sounded like it might only be the A02, or am I mistaken?

How do you find out which version your monitor is? (2007fp)

Is the firmware upgradeable via software?

No, the upgrade has to be done by Dell.

The revision no. is on the barcode serial number label on the back of the monitor.

Is there a way of knowing from the label on the box that would tell what version the firmware is?
I have not purchased my unit yet and it would be nice to know which version I'm buying before hand.

Where it was made and the revision number is clearly displayed on the box, but you will not be able to see that until it arrives.
