2008 r2 VADP file level recovery error
Hello,
Currently doing initial testing of Networker 7.6 sp2 VMWare VADP.
From a 2008 r2 server 'Full' Saveset backup, Can successfully do file level restores to VADP proxy but get following error on restoring to target Server:
39078:nsrexec: SYSTEM error: remote exec problem for command `recover': No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it.
VADP user created \ permissioned as per EMC networker VMWare Release 7.6 Service Pack 2 Integration Guide.
Remote Access Entry: user=vadpuser, host=vadpproxy
Any help greatly appreciated.

If you want to recover files directly to VM client then you will have to install NetWorker client on that VM. Also make sure that VM is accessible on the network.

Hi Frisco,
Confirm name resolved correctly for Virtual Center server, VADP proxy and VM client. Otherwise, add a static entry to the host table.
