abandoned
: Unable to execute save job on host xxxxx: RPC receive operation failed; errno = Connection reset by peer
Running Networker 7.6 for MVS client. Some savesets complete successfully why some don't. The failed ones report the above error.

Interesting - you are still working with this old software. I do not blame you as I know that your are not alone. And it still seems to work fine ... in general.
Looking through the legacy Error Message Guide I did not find a good explanation.It all seems to point to a 'glitch' which a restart of the daemons/services or worst-case, a re-boot, should fix again.
