You can achieve this by limiting the pool used for the backup you wish to direct to the storage node to the devices on the storage node (settings are on pool under selection criteria - just tick the device/s you want to use).
This also means anything directed to this pool will need to have the storage node configured also within the storage node lists (if it affects other clients in the future).
Thanks for the reply Bill, I already have the devices selected under selection criteria to restrict the backups to their specific pool but I still have the same problem. I'm waiting right now on a new nsrd.exe from EMC. We'll see if that does the trick I guess. If so I'll post what version it is in case anyone else has this same problem.
