backing up an ISA server
Hello Guys,
does anybody have an idea why a MS ISA server backup does not start successfully? Even if i stop the whole service the backup does not start. I can run a backup from the client side without any problems (and even when the ISA service is running) and this is how i workaround it also. But the number of such server increases in my environment and i would like to have all the backups to run when initiated from the server.
thanks for your help

Try -c isaserver.local instead of -c isaserver.adroot.local

Check you client/Group configuration.
Check network connectivity; nslookup, ping...etc
look at the entries in your daemon.log

the question is: what connection problem may i have if i can run the backup manually from the GUI and from command line but not automatically when initiated by the backup server.

If it is in a DMZ then check the ports on you firewall.
