backup exchange 2007 with user for microsoft applications
hello,
the backup with the modul microsoft Application 2.3 works well but it does not remove the log file of Exchange. What does it add to or delete the log?
what is wrong ?
nsrsnap_vss_save.exe
NSR_SNAP_TYPE = vss
NSR_ALT_PATH = r: \ mnt

Hello Jacob,
I suppose this is Exchange 2007 CCR or some other cluster type, isn't it?
The most common causes for Exchange not truncating the logs is some issue/delay in the logs replication.
Bear in mind that NMM DO NOT truncate the logs. Logs truncation is a pure Exchange operation.
Basically NMM, when it finishes the backup will send the "backup completed" Command to Exchange and then Exchange, after checking the logs replication status will truncate the logs as needed.
