Backup hangs

Hi,

I've got this issue with a client backup. Client is w2k running NW714. NW server is w2k3 running NW721.

There are no connectivity problems between server and client, no name resolution problems, services are running, no errors in any daemon.logs and also I can restore successfully.

The output below is from a savegrp cmd before I canceled it when it hung

Has anyone seen anything like this before?
Tks,
Liam

Do you get the same if you run full backup (eg. savegrp -vv -c emf3intranet01 -lfull AP_2200)?

Hi Hrovje,

I rebooted the server and the backup is now working. So I will try this the next time the backup hangs. Thanks anyway.

Chances are that if this is working after reboot that possibly nsrexecd or something else checked by nsrexecd and/or save was stuck so probably even with full you would get same picture.
