Backup NAS mount points
I have a Windows server that works as a file server and has several volumes mounted from NAS. Drive letters are assigned for each mount point.
How should these mount points be backed up? I tried using drive letters as save sets and also using share names as save sets but I allways get some network related error or save set does not exist kind errors.
What is the correct way to get this done?

You will need to use save -x to cross mount points. See the command reference manual for further details. Without the -x option NetWorker only backs up local files.
Hope this helps

If NDMP is not viable / supported / configurable then have to have to option to save via the mount points.

all
then it was determined that they were not backing up because NetWorker was able to determine that the volume was not local and skipped it. When we specified the save sets to explicitly include the DFS roots, it worked. Example:
C:\
D:\
E:\edm (<--DFS Root that was previously skipped)
Does this work?
