Backup problem with NSR_NML 2.0

Hello everybody.

We`ve got an problem with Notes Modul on solaris 9. Backup have only a size of 4kb (index<1KB) and sgc say succeded and backups of translogs are fine. But when we use recover GUI for Windows we only can see backup until june 16th. No changes on networker client were made by this day or later.

The server is configured as storage node. Backup of an other notes server works fine.

Have anybody an Idea?

Regards,
andreas

Appendix:
only notes.ini file is listed in GUI.

Can you be a bit more specific about your configuration details for Domino please? Also, I'm quite sure you do not use version 2.0.

ok. I was false. It is 2.2.

Dominodata path is equal with saveset.
4 Notes servers are in the same group. 2 Storage Nodes are used.
Remote access is set to some servers.

Please specify which further infos you need.

Could it be a problem with client parallism of 4?
No changes are listed in rap.log for this server.

According to what you shown here backup is more than 4KB. When you do index query do you see notes entries for YYY? Also does mminfo confirms the story? Could be that your data is going to wrong index too.

Only one entry is shown in Index for "NOTES:/lotus/notes1/notesdata" since 17th July. Before we had 4 entries for "NOTES:/lotus/notes1/notesdata", ".../notesdata_1", ".../notesdata_2" and ".../notesdata_3".

NETWORKER # mminfo -q'group=Notes_DB,savetime>=07/25/07' -c YYY
Datenträger Client Datum Größe Level Name
OS7930 YYY 25.07.07 4 KB incr NOTES:/lotus/notes1/notesdata
OS7930 YYY 25.07.07 956 B incr notes_browselist
OS7930 YYY 25.07.07 1245 MB incr notes_txnlogs
NETWORKER #

Also notes_browselist size have changed from around 30KB to 1KB since 17 July.

yes, since 17 July only the TXN files were backup.
Till 16th also e.g. nsf files are shown like:
da_dirl->XXX.nsf

If you do nsrinfo -s -n notes do you see anything (be aware that you will need to pipe output as newest entries are at the top).

Did something change in the path? I remember that depending on your path you have switch which tell module what and where to backup. You may wish to check that and test it with different switch.

It could be possible that our notes admin has updated the Domino version to 6.5.6.
So we will install NML 3.0 tomorrow to this server. It`s the last working with 2.2.
