Test running savepsm from the command line to try to identify the problem.

savepsm -I "C:\program files(x86)\legato\management\GST"

does this work?

Coganb, many thanks for your reply.

This is a copy paste from Command Prompt:

Microsoft Windows [Version 6.0.6002]
Copyright (c) 2006 Microsoft Corporation.  All rights reserved.

C:\Users\goran.kirhner>savepsm -I "C:\program files(x86)\legato\management\GST"
'savepsm' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file.

C:\Users\goran.kirhner>cd\

C:\>cd "Program Files (x86)\Legato\Management\GST\etc"

C:\Program Files (x86)\Legato\Management\GST\etc>savepsm -I "C:\program files(x86)\legato\management\GST"
19241:savepsm: Could not access configuration file C:\program files(x86)\legato\management\GST\etc\gstd.conf.

C:\Program Files (x86)\Legato\Management\GST\etc>

As you can see the message `savepsm` is not recognized, but if I also run the same command from different path it says "Could not access configuration file C:\program files(x86)\legato\management\GST\etc\gstd.conf." Meybe this could help us to define the problem.

Any suggestion?

Problem solved, I just need to reinstall NMC and choose different installation path. The default path is "C:\Program Files (x86)\Legato\Management\GST", wipe out (x86) so the exactly path have to be "C:\Program Files\Legato\Management\GST" and backup of NMC database can start.

Hi there,

I had the same problem after updating to V 9.0.1.3 . A repair-install was enough to bring back savepsm.exe to nsr\bin .
