Cannot Backup Public Folder from Exchange 2003

Customer have Windows 2003/SP3 and Exchange 2003/SP2
He see this error in daemon.log and cannot backup Public folder:

I found Support Note 64489. But canot find that the same issue for Exchange 2003.

And have you information, what is in the Case Number from Microsoft, what I found in Support Note 64489?

What can I do?

I'm not sure if in this case error code 14 is the same as unknown error 14, but if so it indicates problems with storage/memory. Further, error 0x8007000e which is reported by EXCH module indicates an out-of-memory condition.

You may wish to inspect the performance of the box (run perfmon on memory usage) during the PF backup just to exclude this as possibility.

Check also for event ids that may be recorded during the backup operarion or replication of PF.

Could you tell me what was found to be the fix for this? I am having the same problem. Microsoft has been involved, to no avail, as well.
