Cannot browse a CFI
Hi Guys,
I have a server which backs itself up to a standalone drive. The version of NW is 7.2 build 172 and the OS is Win 2k.
If I browse the indexes through the guys I can see all the savesest from the client and all its cycles. If I run nsrinfo clientname I can also see all of the savesets and their informations. However If I try and run a restore I can only browse the files that were backed up last night, if I try to change the browse time NW tells me that nothing was backed up.
This is what I have done so far to rectify the issue.
nsrim -X (to no avail)
stopped nw services
renamed the /nsr/index/client name to /nsr/index/client name.old
restarted networker
nsrck -L7
nsrim -X
this restored all the indexes but i still cannot browse them
The problem does not seem to be the fact that the indexes aren't there, but the fact that NW can't recognise them.
Has anyone had this before?

The problem was the client had been deleted and recreated witha different client ID. I created a dummy client and recovered all relevant CFIs
