cannot use RSG in networker user for exchange server
I am having a problem using RSG in networker for user for exchange server. I have successfully backed up the information store. I have successfully restored the mailbox store to the recovery storage group. However when open netwroker user for exchange server, the rsg option is greyed out. I can also perform a backup using the networker user for exchage server without issue. I dont believe it be a permissions issue, but I tell you I am at my wits end. I am using exchange server 2003. Networker 7.5 SP3. networker for microsoft exchange 5.1.3.274 Any ideas Guys?

Thank Luis for your response. I have done all the things in the solution. Most threads I have read people are getting errors. I cannot get an error as I cannot even click on rsg due to it beng greyed out. I did tty to use exmerge and I cannot get that to work either. However I really would rather user networker user for Microsoft exchange since it is capable of recovery items from RSG.

Check with your support if this might be LGTsc29965. It was regression of LGTsc11653 (difference being Exchange 2003 vs 2007). I personally never had this issue, but it may be due to different builds (especially if you use GA version of module).

LGTsc is problem id in EMC database (newer format is NWxxxxx, but at the time of issue identification older system was used).
GA stands general availability and usually represents 1st version which is considered available for public release. Such version are usually listed on PowerLink. Modules get fixed and they keep same numbering, but build number changes. Updates builds are given out by support once it is determined that problem reported will be or may be fixed by higher build. At certain point, those fixes from updated builds get rolled out to new release along with some new features.
