I'm not big fan of Centera backup, but can you expand a bit what you have said - what was the speed you were getting? I assume you use DX too...

Hello,

Sorry for the delay of this message - I was out of office for a few days.

Yes, we are using DX.
The speed is not a problem although it was slow ( around 5M/s ).

The problem is that we have 940 GB of data on the Centera, but our backup showed 1200 GB when we stopped it.

I can send you a screenshots if you want?

Thanks for the reply.

I think your question should go to DX forum. I didn't have much experience with this, but I guess first question that comes to my mind is what kind of backup you're using (level or time range) and did you check queues to see if you are getting optimal values. I would suggest to contact your support too given that DX stuff is usually handled by people who are specific to DX world and they might have some additional hints.

Thanks

It seems that The Centera backup collects all the data from the Centera ( and not only the data on the Centera shown in Centera Viewer ) - that means: Data shown in the Centera GUI + "garbage collector" + etc.

We will run the Centera backup again and I will let you know the results.

Best regards
