Client Enabler/licensing problem

Maybe someone can give me an idea how to fix my configuration problem. i have a server that was an client of an old networker backupserver. and have deinstalled the module for microsoft applications from that client. in the mean time we installed the new backup server Networker on other machine. and installed the microsoft aplication module on the same server client. The problem is that on the new networker server new client says 'Enabler in use: NO' and the backup is not working. How could this problem be solved? Networker faststart 7.6 on server 2008 r2 client: server 2003 r2 thanks.

Hi,

NetWorker Fast Start is not compatible with Windows 2008 R2 as per the Software Compatibility Guide. The 'Enabler in Use: NO' message just means that there has been no backup and does not explain the reason for the failure as per this Knowledgebase article.

For compatibilty with Windows 2008 R2, you will need to wait for the 7.6.1 version of NetWorker Fast Start or switch to the standard NetWorker version 7.6.1 which supports this already.
