Cloning keeps requesting adv_file device even though its already mounted

Question

Hi,

Cloning keeps requesting adv_file device even though its already mounted and this happening with random adv_file device on the same storage node.

My NetWorker server 7.4 and storage node is 7.4 both are running with Solaris 10.

Please some one help me on this.

Try to unmount and mount again, then paste here the daemon.log file for the time you did that, usually there's some info there.

7.4.2. Apparently i found ur article in the support forum.This just bcz of the suspect saveset on the disk volume, so i deleted the suspect saveset and started the backup, finally it worked.
