Compatibility Networker - Dell
Hi, i have one question. I have a tape library Dell TL2000 with 2 drives LTO-5 FC. These device support two drives half height. The last Networker´s Hardware Compatibility Guide says Networker supports TL2000 but drives LTO-3 and LTO-4 however LTO-5 FC is supported in another vendors. Can I use Networker in my tape library Dell?

Hi Jose - yes - the LTO-5 qualifications are now making their way onto the compat guide. You'll be fine with this combination (the Dell w/ LTO-5). It is supported. What version of NetWorker are you running?

Thanks Eric. I will to use Networker Fast Start 7.6. I have a doubt about this. I will have a library Dell TL2000 with two drives LTO-5 SAS. The compat guide don´t say me that its compatible this configuration. Do I´ll have trouble?. Is there any document with this validation?. Thanks for your answers.

Hi Jose - yes it's hard to tell from the compat guide. I think the answer lies in the notes on the first page. Let me ask some folks here about this.
