compression - where to implement it - best practice

Hello  I have EMC Networker Server 7.6 SP2 and IBm TS3100 library atteched to this server, and now I'm considering to implement compression, but I'm wondering what will be the best choice ?: - enabling compression using EMC Networker or - enabling compression on Tape Library ? what are the cons and pros of these two methods ? Hardware compression always the best Recommended sequence http://storagesavvy.com/2010/12/17/can-you-compress-and-dedupe-it-depends/ Original Data -> De-Dupe -> Compress -> Encrypt -> Store HTH
