Connection timeout with NMC in Networker 7.3

Have installed Networker 7.3 on a Linux host including the Networker Management Console.
NMC connection works properly when trying to copnnect to the Linux NMC server on port 9000 on local LAN.
When trying to connect to same NMC server from remote LAN/WAN I get the Networker 7.3 splash screen with the "Start" button. After pressing the Start button, Java Web Start is launched on the Windows host and The Linux NMC server is contacted for "latest version check".
Unfortunately this check fails and is reported by Java Web Start with the error:
An error occurred while launching/running the application.
Title: NetWorker Management Console on fedlnx.meirson.com
Vendor: EMC Corporation
Category: Download Error
Unable to load resource: http://172.10.10.233:9000/gconsole.jnlp
That in the details is explained as:
JNLPException[category: Download Error : Exception: java.net.ConnectException: Connection timed out: connect : LaunchDesc: null ]

Will appreciate any help in solving this issue.

No idea, sorry... The error itself seems to indicate network problem (connection timed out). You may wish to check if route which is being used for connection is established properly. (use netstat on both sides - or some network sniffer). I did see few issues with java before which were related to network setup (proxy) of java itself, but this seems to be different in your case. I would start by checking connectivity of both sides and TCP status.
