Core files

After my last NW crash (stop responding at mminfo), I find every day core.12* in /
I analyze core file and I notice that the failure cam from nsrim ¿MXq, that is run by nsrd.
I think my index is corrupt but I¿m not 100% sure

I try nsrim -X and I notice that is stuck to a client index, something like core dump.
The nsrck -m solve this issue.
Thx

Try to run it manually and see if it cores again. You should run something like nsrmm -X and run (s)trace/truss (not sure what system you have) on it to see where is breaks (if it breaks). Do also nsrck -m after (or before) and check daemon.log then for any unusual messages.

Again the same problem:
I notice that on nsrim ¿X I get :
¿rpbcrm1srv.rompetrol.org:MSSQL:, 312 browsable cycle(s)Segmentation fault¿
for one client

I stop the NW, I erase the rpbcrm1srv index from the index directory, and I run nsrim ¿X, the result is below:
rpbcrm1srv.rompetrol.org:MSSQL:, 304 browsable cycle(s)Segmentation fault

The same.
About the case, In the past I open 2 cases without any result.

It may be this is your problem. Shut down NW, remove the client index, start it again and run the check. Does it run now? If above output is correct that it seems like MSSQL saveset caused some kind problem to your index (or media) database. I would suggest to open this with EMC support once that you confirm index for rpbcrm1srv is causing this issue. You will probably have core dump of the process so make sure you supply that too.

I'd suggest reinstalling the software in case any of the binaries are corrupt. If it cores again open a call with support.

Strange to see something browsable when index is gone :D

Well, in that case issue would probably be with media database. Support will porbably focus to identify what ssid is making a problem and removing it. Call support for further steps.
