Datastore browser for VADP is enabled [VMware]
Hi Guys,
We have networker to back up Virtual machines.
I wish to know is datastore browser (config.vpxd.enableHttpDatastoreAccess) is needed to be enabled for networker to work?
We have security requirement which doesn't allow enabling datastore browser access.
Appreciate if you provide some inputs and advice or work around.
Our is PCI-DSS zone, we would like to protect it as much as possible

The above setting is incompatible with VADP backups. The backup requires HTTP access to the datastores in order to download the VM configuration file to review the VM hardware configuration and disk layout. If this access is shutdown by making these modifications, the backup will fail.
