DD backup- Now backup logs in SAP tcode db12
Hi,
We are using EMC data domain to backup the oracle database. Backup is done through RMAN. We cant see backup logs in SAP, which is through tcode DB12. We came to know this is because we are not using brtools for backup.
My question is how can i integrate Oracle RMAN and SAP brtools, when using EMC data domain?

You need to install NMSAP module (which requires NMSAP license; if you have capacity one then it is valid for NMSAP as well) and from there you define util file, sap file, cfg file (for scheduled backups) and you are good to go.
