Diskbackup Option Tier Upgrades

Question

We are currently are outgrowing DBO Tier 2 6T. How does this work? Do I drop tier 2 and go to tier 3 10T or can I add a couple tier 1s to my current current tier 2? Is pricing listed online? I was trying to get a few ideas before contacting our customer rep. TIA, jan

Hope this helps:Licenses are stackable for customers with existing DBO licenses. This allows reps/partners to deliver an upgrade by quoting standard product models.E.g.: Customer has an existing tier 2 license (1TB to <6TB) and wishes to increase DBO use to 8TB. Customer can stack a second Tier 2 license on top of the existing license, entitling the customer to use 1TB to <12TB.

Both options would work. You can upgrade to Tier 3 or add a couple of Tier 1. I would choose on the basis of my expected growth. If it seems, my DBO would outgrow soon, I would upgrade the Tier else adding one Tier 1 should be OK.
