EMC NetWorker 7.3 SP3 Cannot create composite hostid
All,
Having a problem with a NetWorker configuration on Windows 2003 SP2.
NetWorker is installed to D:\nsr, and have created a hostids file in the res directory, which contains hostid1:hostid2
After restarting NetWorker the server reports the host id as hostid1.
Anyone got a clue as to why this is not working?
Before anyone comments about upgrading to NetWorker 7.4SP2, this is planned for later in the year but at the moment the installation MUST remain on 7.3SP3.
Thanks in advance
IKP

AFAIK, there was a problem which got fixed in 7.3SP3 where composite hostid would not be created. Workaround was host1:host2:vir in hostids file. If you do not know what composite hostid would be, trick it by using some older NW version to see what composite would be.
