error writing to process file pid.nbf

We are doing recovery of Lotus Domino Server on Windows. Recovery is getting completed successfully but during recovery an error message is coming :

"error writing to process file pid.nbf, (other applications may be inappropriately accessing this file"

Can somebody help out why is this error message is being displayed during recovery.

Is there nobody having any idea why this error is coming?
