Exchange 2003 Backup problem
Hi Guys and Girls,
Started getting a problem recently, wondering if anyone can help. When networker backs up my Exchange 2003 server i've started getting the following error:
nsresesv(865) Not truncating transaction log files because of database save problems.
Anyone got any idea what that is and how to fix it? I use Networker 7.2

Hi Mike,
As Hrvoje said this could be a DB issue, however I would recommend you to check the savegrp logs, together with /nsr/Applogs/xbsa.messages on the client to get more information about the error.
As I understand from this message, it indicates that the backup was not successful, and for this reason transaction logs were not truncated, so you need to know why the backup failed in the first place.
Check NME and OS logs to find out more.
