What is the version of NW you use?

Hi,
I had the same problem.
You need to delete the peer information on both the NetWorker servers, the VBA appliance (e.g. :networker-proxy.ad)
Go to the location
Type the command on the NetWorker servers 1. nsradmin -p nsrexec 2. print type:nsr peer information; name: networker-proxy.ad 3. delete 4. y
Then on the VBA appliance (e.g. :networker-proxy.ad)
Type the command 1. nsradmin -p nsrexec 2. print type:nsr peer information 3. delete 4. y
VBA: VM backups fails with error "authentication type 0 not adequate"
