Failed to configure library on storage node
Hi All,
Here is my environment:
OS: RHEL7.1
BUA: NetWorker 8.2
VTL
When I try to configure library, it comes fail with the error "Failed to configure library on storage node ,err:available range '2-1' must be contained in '1-1'"
It just work well before.
I have restart the service or reinstall the NetWorker, but the problem remains...
Can anyone help me with this problem?

Hi -- I have encountered this same issue -- however, the fix sometimes vary - So my first thought is --
1 .. Make sure you have the proper drivers for the jukebox installed --- a lot of times it is the drivers -- Do you have jukebox that the server is connected too. Is it connected ISCI or SAS.
Then -- I would make sure all of the cables are connected -- can you check device manager?
Sorry -- I am a windows person and some of my tips might be based on a windows perspective.
You need to make sure your ISCI drives or SAS drives are seen before you configure your jukebox.... If they are not it will give you this kind of message sometime.
When you check - you should not see any Question marks -- like this ? on any of the drivers. if you do you are missing key drivers need for the jukebox to work. Download them from who every your jukebox is by. Download them and place the drivers in the Temp directory.
NO need to re-install the Networker ---once the drivers are installed you might need to reboot the server and jukebox.
Then try configuring the jukebox.
I hope this helps.

Hi JTH,
Thank you very much for answering my question.
I make sure that all you saied are working well.
The networker worked well before, this issue came when I deleted the old jukebox and tried to configure a new one. Actually I have done similar operation before, and there is no problem. So I don't know how to fix it...

So when you delete the library you must make sure that the drives are deleted. So when you execute a scan of devices you see the new drives. There should be a log entry when you execute the new discovery. Then you should be able to create a new library. I have had to to this before as well.
Hope this helps.

Dear JTH,
Thanks for your kindly help.
Finally, I solve the problem by killing " auto-cleaning ".
