Try SYSTEM DB backup from client and see on what it fails. SYSTEM DB is special saveset on Windows platforms. Details can be found in docs.

yeah I've seen this quite often too, but I don't think it's a critical issue.

If you guys are using OFM (open file manager), then you might have to exclude the C:\Temp directory from being monitored.
