Please verify that the autochanger and tape drives are detected on the HP-UX B.11.31 NetWorker server.
What is the NetWorker version? NetWorker 8.2.4.11.Build.1471
Is this a new setup? If not, then in the NetWorker jukebox properties, what is the control port? On the NetWorker server, run:
nsradmin
show name; control port, enabled
p type: NSR jukebox
quit
What host is this autochanger physically connected to? The NetWorker server? Storage node? If Storage node, then what is the NetWorker version?
Are you managing this autochanger using some management software, such as ACSLS or Lib Station, or AlphaStor? Is this autochanger logically partitioned?
Which hosts should have access to the tape drives in the autochanger ?
On the host that it is connected to, please run "inquire" and share the output.
If you see the autochanger in the inquire output, note the scsidev@bus.target.lun values, then use them in the following command: (b.t.l == bus.target.lun values):
sjisn b.t.l
sjirjc b.t.l
sjiinq b.t.l
If you are using something like ACSLS, then inquire may not show the autochanger, but it should show the tape drives.
