GST service database crashes, Linux 7.6.2.1
After a few days GST's sybase database crashes, and NMC becomes unavailable. Sybase forums telling me that the error means a corrupted database.
after starting up gst service these lines appear in messages
Sep 2 10:39:37 fkp-nw01 SQLAnywhere(gst_on_xxx): TCPIP link started successfully
Sep 2 10:39:37 fkp-nw01 SQLAnywhere(gst_on_xxx): Now accepting requests
Sep 2 10:39:50 fkp-nw01 SQLAnywhere(gst_on_xxx): *** ERROR *** Assertion failed: 102300 (9.0.2.3308)#012File associated with given page id is invalid or not open
Sep 2 10:39:51 fkp-nw01 abrt[24088]: saved core dump of pid 24041 (/opt/lgtonmc/sybasa/bin/dbsrv9) to /var/spool/abrt/ccpp-1314952790-24041.new/coredump (341626880 bytes)
it is a new installation, actually no backup yet, but I have reinstalled 3 times, and it keeps failing after a few days.
How can I avoid this?

Hi,
There is an issue currently being investigated by EMC (reference NW127214) whereby dbserv9 cores when the savepsm is run. You could try not having savepsm run and see if that alters the behaviour. Either way, you should open a Service Request with support and they will tell you what they need to compare your issue to the above-mentioned to establish whether this is the same behaviour or whether your issue is something different.

Actually I did not tried to save the gst database yet, so i think it will be a different problem, but I open a case now to help to correct this problem.
