Hi, a NetWorker 8 server does not support a NetWorker 7.4 client.

A NetWorker 8 server only supports a NetWorker 8 or 7.6 client.

A NetWorker 7.6/7.5/7.4 server can support a NetWorker 7.4 client.

Thanks,

my problems is:

i have changed networker server 7.4 in 8.02 and i have client networker 7.4 on win2003 32-bit with Module SAP oracle 3.5.

I change networker client from 7.4 in 7.6 but the module sap oracle 3.5 is compatibily with networker server 8.02 and client 7.6 ?

Why do you use so old versions in the first place?  As for the compatibility, please check software compatibility guide.

I updated version now the situation is so configured:
Networker 8.02 server
Networker Client 8
Module SAP oracle 3.5 for win2003 32-b
client windows 2003 32-bit
the sap module is compatible?...

Perhaps you missed this, but have you tried software compatibility guide? Obviously not

Try https://support.emc.com/docu35302_NetWorker_Software_Compatibility_Guide_.pdf

From what I see, no support for 32bit Windows version.

As I said before - check compatibility guide.  Even if it is not compatible, you can use 4.x.  You could simply update 7.4 to 7.6Sp5 code and it would work just fine - with nw8 now you must do few steps extra.

There are couple of things you can do.  You can use 7.x client and I believe it will work, but you must test it.  Another one is that you built separate environment only for backups of obsolete (by vendor) systems.  Of course, not being on compatibility guide does not necessary mean it does not work; it was just not tested as vendor itself dropped such combination long time ago.  I guess we all have systems which are for museums (I have some win2k systems, then Oracle 9 and similar - all running against NW8 ).
