How to define the Windows Server 2003 Backup?

I have few questions?

1] How can I configure the backup of FULL Windows Server 2003?
2] How can I define the SAVE SETs?
3] Which DIRECTIVE I can choose?
4] How can I backup only System State, Utility Partition, Shadow Copy Components?

Thanks,

Ashish K

No. The other way around, like SYSTEM STATE:\ (but I thing SYSTEM STATE: should work too). Please check docs as this is explained inside pretty well.

Means you wanna say,

Like this:

:\SYSTEM STATE
:\SYSTEM DB
:\SYSTEM FILES

1] How can I configure the backup of FULL Windows Server 2003?

By setting either schedule or level of backup to full (can be done on client or group level - check docs for more information)

2] How can I define the SAVE SETs?

By entering them manually into saveset field.

3] Which DIRECTIVE I can choose?

The one you need - in most cases you don't need any.

4] How can I backup only System State, Utility Partition, Shadow Copy Components?

By specifying only those in saveset field.

Your saveset name is wrong. You are missing ":\" (without quotes). I think it should work without backslash too.
