Deleting a client would mean losing all that you backed up. you should do that oly if that is the last option. You should relook at your Browse Policy so that lesser volume of indexes are left on the disk and you have more free space available with you. Currently, you can go to Media->Indexes and select a client and delete the oldest index cycle so that you free up some space.

The best would be to add more volume and move some client's indexes on to the new volume so that you have free spaces available on both volumes or calculate your requirement and move all indexes to a new larger volume.

To do this, you need to update the Index path resource of the client with the new location...stop services...and move the respective indexes to the new path.

You can manage the index using the 'nsrmm' command with option -d & -y but you have to be very careful about this because it can be very destructive. You can go through the man page for appropriate usage

Proper way to delete index would be to use nsrck command with -R switch. nsrmm is designed to operate at either saveset or volume level.

Another possible solution is to relocate the indices to a different disk partition which has sufficient space. Once you do this, you would need to change the index path in the client configuration under globals.
