informix backup failed
when i use command : onbar -b -L 0 on client to backup informix database,
i got daemon.raw messages like this : nsrexecd SYSTEM error: SSL Error: Unable to establish ssl connection Remote host
and nsrexecd disappeared.backup failed
xbsa.messages got error :
_nwbsa_is_retryable_error: received a retryable network error (Severity 4 Number 12): Remote system error

The message clearly shows that SSL is not enabled in the Remote Host. Enable SSL in the client machine and this problem should vanish.

1. how can enable SSL on AIX5.3?
2. i tried again use group start on backup server,got error like this:
6622 03/31/10 15:45:59 2 0 0 1332 402176 0 crm1_db nsrexecd Authentication Warning: user: "informix" does not belong to group: "sec
urity", but claimed to belong to it. Removing group: "security" from the credential for user: "informix".
and nsrexeced disappear ,produce a core dump,backup failed.
3. if i start onbar -b on client ,no 6622 error,just nsrexeced down and core dump.
4. I can use save to backup file by user informix&root.

Please open a support call as nsrexecd core dumping on AIX 5.3 is a known issue under investigation.
