intermittent Networker problems

Hi

I am new to EMC Networker. Its a new Networker set-up for the account I am supporting.

I have intermittent issues on the Networker .

Some clients are able to backup and some not able to backup.

Some background. The backup LAN is on a backup segment while the Production LAN

is on the Production segment. All the servers/clients  have AV virus software.

Initially we thought it was caused by AV virus. So we put the Networker files and directories

under the exclusive list not to be scanned by the AV s/w.

Where do I start to troubleshoot?

The best thing is to start from logs.  Check what is the error message you get.  Then check system logs on clients for the time while session was running to see if you get any matches.  Then, with pile of error message you may find, check those in Kowledge base.
