Is it possible to script automated reports from multiple Networker servers?

hello there,

i am working on an automation script for many backup software and i need a quick help.

is it possible to execute a mminfo or nsr.. or any of the Networker CLI from a remote machine?

i have done similar stuff with netbackup where i just need to specify one more entry for the remote machine in the nb.conf

is such a facility available in networker?

Any help in this regard is deeply appreciated.

cheers

Yes, that's possible. All that you are required is to give permissions (mostly admin level of permissions) to user (usually root) at host from where this would be executed. Your NW backup admin should know more details about it.

You would need to give the permissions by adding the user@hostname to the appropriate user group. I don't think admin level permissions are required. Something like monitor networker should be enough.
