label operation Sun SL500
Hello
During label operation with failed. See attached the error. Any help from the group would be welcomed

NetWorker is reporting I/O errors on the tape drive. it might either be a bad tape or an issue with the tape drive. I would recommend having the tape vendor have a look at it.
You could also try cleaning the tape drive and re-trying.

Be careful in such an environment because ..
- the jukebox is usually controlled by NetWorker
- but if you have NDMP tape drives defined, the data is in fact controlled by NDMP
- Networker's 'standard' tapes drives however will use the NW Open Tape Format.
- Both formats are incompatible.
- And usually you have separate tape drives in the same jukebox assigned to appropriate pools.
I have not worked with such scenario for years.
I remember that it was possible to even mix 'normal' with NDMP save sets on the same tape. But this might have changed because it does not make sense in practice.
Let me suggest you just do a cross-check and verify the label in a 'standard' tape drive. You can control that, of course.
And always take care and load the tape in the correct drive type.
