From the group side, you cannot stop a particular client from backups. The only way is to stop Networker services on the client.

Stopping the group from server will stop all the clients. He wants to stop only one of the clients.

If this is scheduled backup you can stop it from GUI. If this client initiated backup it needs to be stopped on client. For more details you will need to post in NetWorker forum.

Is it easy to find which ansrd runs for which client?

Killing ansrd for client on server might do the trick under certain circumstances. But that's not recommended approach of course (and certainly not supported).

On UNIX yes. On Windows you will need to use some sysinternals tools.
