License for Sharepoint and Networker module for SQL

Hy,

If I purchase the license enabler for Sharepoint, it is neccesary to purchase also the Networker module for SQL to backup the sql database?

Can anybody provide me a temporal enabler for Sharepoint?

Thanks very much

Should be able to get a temporary license from your sales rep. I can't answer the other part of the question.

To backup Sharepoint you need to purchase the Networker Module for SQL (plus have a client license). I do not believe there is a specific module for Sharepoint.

I've checked Partnernet and there is no details about a module for Sharepoint so use the SQL module as has been the case up to now.

i've got mssql module for legato. i use it to backup the mssql database. but i have a question concerning backing up the spss FILES. as far as i know, spps server has its own database (which i already back up) and also the files, which are the main part. how to back up these files? as standalone normal files (e.g. save set: C:\spps\files) or do i have to use some other tool? if yes, what tool should i use?

the spps issue is a bit messy. if anyone can clarify, i'd be glad.

i've found additional info on networker support forum (other than this one) convincing to use spbackup.exe (or similar) program, which is a part of spps. but it doesn't work.

i have the database server running on one physical machine, the files on another. i was wandering if backing up the mssql only would be sufficient for spps, but it wouldnt - you lose the files, the database is of no use any more. so you do have to backup the files. but how?
