Networker and IBM DS4200

hi to all,

we have an problem saving the mountet san partition on an suse linux enterprise 9 server. the networker skips this filesystem (like /proc and /sys) but it is not excluded in the networker server 7.2. (nornaly wo do an full backup of the whole server). the linux shows the partitaion as normal scsi devices. (/dev/sde) the size of the partition ist about 2,2 TB.
the san ist directly linked to the server with an "loop"
i tried ndmp on the client networker server side but without any effect.
what must i do to save this san partiton?

thx a lot

Please run save in verbose/debug mode from the client, so we can get more details about your problem. It should look like: save -vvv -s server -c client /partition

If I understand correctly you have disk storage attached to Linux box via SAN as local disk. Is that correct? What is the mnt point for that and do you have it listed in fstab correctly?
